La gran
problemática que tiene hoy en día los American Pit Bull Terrier en los
diferentes países, como bien saben, es que realizan Leyes que inducen al
exterminio de nuestra querida raza canina. Esto ocurre, por que observan a
nuestra raza como si de mestizos se trataran, precisamente por desconocer que
poseen pedigree Oficial Internacional y este es el pedigree de la ADBA.
La ADBA viene desarrollando una labor estupenda de control, conservación, promoción
y defensa de la raza que no podemos pasar inadvertida. La ADBA goza de una
muy buena reputación dada la honestidad de las personas que la dirigen, la
familia Greenwood.
En el año 1909, se fundo la American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) y por su buen hacer en la conservación
del original American Pit Bull Terrier, consiguió que hoy en día sea reconocida
como la Canina Madre del APBT de ámbito Internacional por la FIAPBT, por no
haber cedido con el transcurso de los años ni un solo paso hacia atrás, de lo
que es el autentico, puro y original APBT y la afición se lo reconoce y
agradece.
No obstante decir, que la ADBA después de haber realizado una investigación y
si esta es favorable, homologa pedigrees de otras organizaciones (UKC, IKC,
BFK, SDR, etc.) como pedigrees ADBA y la FIAPBT aprueba también esos pedigrees
homologados, por el simple echo de saber que fueron investigados antes de ser
aceptados por la ADBA.

Ante los ojos de la FIAPBT, la ADBA es la Institución que ofrece pedigrees con
mayor credibilidad y con bastante más diferencia que otras organizaciones que
también ofrecen pedigrees. En la ADBA existe un Departamento de
Investigación para comprobar la veracidad de los pedigrees, poniéndose en
contacto directamente con los criadores en caso de ser requerida la veracidad
de algún pedigree, algo que ninguna otra organización realiza. La ADBA posee un
control informatizado bastante definido, para evitar al 100% la
falsificación de pedigrees. Ni que decir tiene, el servicio que posee de
las pruebas de ADN (DNA), única Institución del APBT que lo realiza.
En la FIAPBT entendemos, que hay que promocionar adecuadamente a la raza para
después realizar igualmente una adecuada defensa de la misma, ante aquellos
Gobiernos que intentan continuamente exterminar a los APBT y precisamente por
esto, es tan importante que promocionemos paralelamente junto con la raza el
pedigree ADBA, para que estas Instituciones Gubernamentales comprendan
que están tratando con una raza canina como cualquier otra y no deben tomar
medidas injustificadas por el echo de creer que son perros mestizos, al haber
sido mal asesorados y engañados sobre este asunto, por aquellas personas que
están al frente del mundo del perro en su país y estas mismas personas son anti APBT y desean el exterminio en su país del APBT para
recuperar la popularidad y ventas de su raza, desbancada de esto último como
no, por los APBT y la mejor manera de engañar a los que Gobiernan, es
precisamente mal asesorándoles refiriéndose a nuestra raza canina con desprecio
y actitud discriminatoria, como que es un grupo de perros mestizos bastante
peligrosos para las personas, o a lo sumo un grupo funcional, que viene a ser
lo mismo que perros mestizos.

IADCRO y la FIAPBT agradecen mucho a todos sus representantes, miembros y
colaboradores, el esfuerzo tan importante que realizan en la difusión de todo lo relacionado con la defensa de las razas
