The FIAPBT, IADCRO and the undersigned, formally ASK  to the government from USA, UK, Australia, NZ; Canada, French, Portugal and any other country with this similar kind of BAD and CRUEL LAWS, for the elimination or adecuate modification, to the unfair, discriminatory and ineffective BSL, DDA, Ley PPP, Ley 158, etc.

 

The BSL, DDA, Ley PPP, Ley 158, etc. being as they are right now, do not protect the citizen at all and if criminalize and discriminate against millions of noble and wonderful dogs by its appearance, together with its helpless and responsible owners. The attacks to the people produced by dogs, the breed dogs are not the guilty, for the poor control and poor education received by its irresponsible owners. The guilty from the attacks is the irresponsible owner, which the BSL, DDA, Ley PPP, Ley 158, etc. should punish and not to punish the breed dogs together its responsible owners.

 

In the International FIAPBT & IADCRO CONGRESS , scientifically be had proved the nonexistence of Dangerous or Potentially Dangerous breed dogs.

 

The BSL, DDA, Ley PPP, Ley 158, etc. like are found at present, are encouraging the animal abuse

 

The adecuate modification of our REQUEST consist of the following two aspects:

 

1) Fostering at all times in the Law the RESPONSIBLE Dog Owner, be of any breed dog, miscegenation or size, and yes criminalizing the IRRESPONSIBLE Dog owners and not the noble breed dogs or dogs by its appearance.

 

2) The adecuate amendment of the Act completely, which lists the names of noble and wonderful breed dogs like the American Pit Bull Terrier (PIT BULL), etc. classified like Potentially Dangerous, must be suppress it and this classified, must be for the aggressive dogs by the individual character.

 

In the FIAPBT & IADCRO we have the convinced that if the dogs Act be amended to the effect of the above, the Act would apply in a proper, fair and effective for all canine species equally, without discrimination of race, and YES giving importance to risk CONDUCT or offering the animal as an individual and not by its breed dog or physical characteristics, which ultimately will be what really catalog like Potentially Dangerous in a justified manner. It is very cruel and unfair to say that certain breed dogs have more aggressively for the simple fact of belonging to one or the other breed dogs. This aggressiveness factor, is produced by the environment or living environment the dog as a child and never by the breed dog, dishing the teachings and experiences in their environment.
